In June 2015, the successfull research project SEMIZENTRAL was honoured with the GreenTec Award 2015 after going through a multi-level selection procedure carried out by an interdisciplinary jury. The German-Chinese project, which has been supported by Far Eastern Consulting since 2013, represents an approach towards sustainable settlement management in fast-growing urban areas worldwide by developing semi-centralized waste water treatment systems.

The GreenTec Award is one oft he most highly regarded environmental prizes and has been awarded to innovative projects in the fields of environmental technology and ecological business since 2008. The jury is composed of high-ranking representatives from business, science, associations and the media.
